It's Been a Year, so Here's the Update

Well, I used to be a good blogger. But I have slacked horribly for the past year which is dumb because it was the MOST INCREDIBLE YEAR EVER!!!! I met a boy named Jake and after a rough start fell madly in love. We got married :) And it was wonderful!! I am the luckiest girl to have such a man in my life. Not only did I find the man of my dreams, but I was also a "Pioneer Princess". Okay okay, I'm totally out of order. Let me post some pictures to capture the year in review.

I ran a total of three half marathons, one triathlon, and a Ragnar Relay with the family (all in two and a half months. Call me crazy):

I ran the Strider Half in the end of March, Ragnar in April, the Dino Half, Ogden Half, and Cottonwood Heights Tri were all in May. I placed second out of my age group at the Dino Half and first out of the novice women in the Tri. Was I burned out? Yes. Will I keep running? Yes.

An incredibly fun filled summer with Nicole Lindsay and Danielle Schkapich:

Courting Jake: I was a princess for the summer while he fought wildfires in Oregon

When he got home we got engage on September 23, 2014:

Then we had some engagement pictures taken via Lyndi Benson at Sugar Rush Photography:

Shortly after we had our formals/ bridals taken:

My sister in law's mother was also kind enough to do some more bridals for me (thanks Lisa!!):

On November 21, 2014 Jake and I were sealed for time and all eternity in the Ogden Utah Temple:

We had a luncheon at the Timbermine by Ogden Canyon and a reception at Birch Creek Golf Course in Smithfield:

Randomly in that whole span of time I was asked by my Grandma Stratford to be a model of a nurse graduating from the Dee Nursing School. I'm not a nurse, but she needed a model for a display they put in the new education wing at the McKay-Dee Memorial Hospital:
