Pick - up S...paghetti.

Josh and I decided to make spaghetti for dinner one night. Being the incredibly smooth kid he is, the dry spaghetti took a detour on its way to the pot. The floor and spaghetti became fast friends. Lucky us, we had a new game to play. Pick up spaghetti! Yes, we cooked it and ate it. The hot water, we surmised, would boil all the nasty little germs. We even put ground beef in our sauce. Man we rock.

Josh was trying to do CPR for the meat. It didn't work very well.

Bye Bye Baby

Well folks, this is it. After 10 years my puppy has been given away to a family in Provo. I can't believe she's actually gone. I don't know what to do with myself. On the bright side, they'll take good care of her and now Annette doesn't have to worry about allergies. But 10 years! She's been with me for more than half of my life. Does that count for nothing? Needless to say, we're all really sad. At least, half of my family is. I'm sure Annette and my dad are rejoicing. They never really wanted her around anyway. So this is my farewell to my puppy. Bye Mindy. Thanks for being such a good dog for all these years. I'll miss you baby and I love you so much.

Uykata

So I moved into a new apartment over the past couple of days, which has been crazy. My new roommates are Cardin, Rachel, and Makiko. Makiko is from Japan and we got talking tonight about different traditions. I asked her if she had a kimono and she told me she had a uykata. A uykata is basically a summer kimono. It was so pretty! She let me and Cardin try it on. I now want to go to Japan and learn about their culture. This is a picture of me and Makiko in her uykata, and then a picture of the back. It was really fun to wear, even though it felt some what like a corset.
